Spazi d’art Matias Spescha

The Spazi Spescha in the former textile factory displays the artistic estate of the eminent artist Matias Spescha, originating from Trun, in dialog with contemporary artists.

In the industrial hall of 1000 square metres seasonal exhibitions are held to present the artist’s works in various contexts.

OGNA

With OGNA, the eminent artist Matias Spescha (1925-2008) leaves behind his latest and most prominent work of art in his native village Trun.

Switzerland’s largest walk-in sculpture is located in the middle of the impressive Grison valley Surselva, surrounded by mountains, with whom it forms a meditative and astounding unity.

OGNA is open to the public around the clock all year round.

Casa Carigiet

The stately former home of the Carigiet brothers Alois and Zarli has been put under national heritage protection. Following a devastating fire in 2019 it is being rebuilt and transformed into a cultural center, open to the public.

The restoration of the Baroque building is carried out in several construction phases. It will be partly opened to the public in August 2025 for an inaugural exhibition.

Casa Desax

The CASA DESAX, once renovated, will complement and expand the cultural experience in Trun as a hospitality home and literary centre, dedicated to the Rhaeto-Romanic language spoken in the region.

The Rokoko villa serves as the headquarter of Uniun Trun Cultura and is currently not open to the public.
